Shanti Devi Foundation (SDF) has been actively working in Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh since 2019. Our efforts span multiple areas, including health and education, women empowerment, environmental conservation, livelihood promotion, and humanitarian aid.
SDF is committed to improving the living conditions of the poor and marginalized through strategies that emphasize community participation, local initiatives, and awareness-building.
Key Initiatives
1. “Jaipur ki Pathshala”
This 100-days educational drive was launched to provide a brighter future for underprivileged children living on the streets of Jaipur.
2. “Himachal ki Pathshala”
Originating in the remote villages of Himachal Pradesh, this initiative successfully organized 200 days of special educational sessions for children in rural areas.
3. “Empowered Women Award – Celebrating Strength and Impact”
On the occasion of the 6th Anniversary of Shanti Devi Foundation (March 8th, International Women’s Day), we are proud to launch the first edition of the Empowered Women Award in collaboration with Annapurna Gram Sanghthan.
This prestigious award honors 50+ inspiring women from Himachal Pradesh for their outstanding dedication, excellence, and impactful contributions to society.
Guided by the spirit of “नारी हूँ, मैं शक्ति हूँ” (I am a woman, I am strength), the Empowered Women Award 2025 celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of women who are driving meaningful change in their communities.
This is the inaugural edition of the Empowered Women Award, which will be organized annually to recognize and amplify the voices of women who inspire generations.
